FlashRunner™ High Speed
With Active Modules, you get up to 640 Mbps data transfer speed.
Equipped With The Leading FlashRunner™ 2.0 Technology.

FlashRunner™ 2.0 Platform
Industy-leading ISP Technology
SMH Technologies® has leveraged its 25 years of extensive experience in the production field to develop a brand-new programming system, addressing the challenges of increasing demand.
- Fully-Featured Real-Time Linux System
- The customized Linux system uses a real-time scheduler and a comprehensive hardware abstraction layer. Whether you are using LabView© or Visual C/C++, you can fully integrate with our programmer using extensive library support.
- Extensive Hardware Support
- Our hardware features multiple independent ISP channels simultaneously supporting various communication protocols such as JTAG, SPI, I2C, BDM, UART, and more. Additionally, our devices support high-speed programming for eMMC and NAND flash memories.
- FlashRunner™ Workbench GUI
- The all-new graphical interface significantly simplifies the overall configuration process, allowing complex parameter settings to be quickly completed with just a few mouse clicks.
- Information Security
- Asymmetric end-to-end encryption technology effectively defends against executable file attacks. It also features readback and comparison functionality for all channels, along with management and tracking of logs and production reports.
Compact and Versatile Universal Programmer
Works with all MCUs and memory ICs
The FlashRunner™ HS is equipped with a high-performance processor and eight independent high-speed Type-C communication module interfaces that can be combined in any configuration, allowing simultaneous programming of up to 32 chips. The dedicated communication modules ensure highly reliable communication quality.
- Powerful hardware
Built around an Intel SOC FPGA (800 MHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 HPS) supporting symmetric and asymmetric multiprocessing, with 1 GB of DDR3, 256 GB of onboard eMMC storage, an isolated 10/100/1000 Ethernet interface and an isolated USB-UART interface.
- Eight independent high-speed interfaces
Eight independent high-speed Type-C module interfaces can be combined however you need — for example, eight GP-4 modules to program 32 devices in parallel. Nearly every ISP/PP protocol is supported, including eMMC, parallel-NAND, BDM, JTAG, DAP, CSI, SPI, QUAD-SPI, I2C, UART, MC2W, ISSP, SWD, ICSP, EICSP, MDI, PPM, PDI and SWIM.
- Compact, flexible hardware
The compact FlashRunner™ HS mounts close to the board inside your fixture, with a USB Type-C port for the HS control unit and an ISP/PP device interface for talking to the target. It also carries a latest-generation high-performance line driver supporting communication frequencies up to 80 MHz, plus a programmable power supply that powers the board and monitors output voltage and current.
Active Modules
- Four series for different needs
The GP series suits MCUs, serial memories, QUAD SPI memories, CPLDs, OTP and other device types.
The eMMC series is built for the high frequency and fast 8-bit bus of eMMC memories.
NAND-1 handles NAND device data buses up to 16 bits wide, at the protocol maximum of 12 Mbps.
The CAN-4 module is designed for CAN and CAN-FD communication.- GP (General Purpose)
GP-2 and GP-4 support 2 or 4 parallel channels respectively, for up to 32 channels of independent, parallel programming.
Each channel carries 8 digital I/O lines (including 4 ground lines) and 2 independent programmable voltage lines.
Each channel exposes 20 signal points.
Vertical or right-angle connectors are available.- eMMC
eMMC-1 and eMMC-2 support 1 or 2 parallel channels respectively.
Each channel carries 6 ground lines and 12 digital I/O lines for the eMMC 8-bit interface, reaching up to 80 MB/s.
An advanced DIO line driver gives each channel 2 independent programmable voltage lines and 30 signal points.
Vertical or right-angle connectors are available.- NAND-1
Carries 24 digital I/O lines supporting parallel NAND 8-bit and 16-bit data buses, plus 12 ground lines.
Includes an advanced DIO line driver and 2 independent programmable voltage lines.
Vertical or right-angle connectors are available.- CAN-4
Carries 4 parallel, independent channels reaching the CAN/CAN-FD protocol maximum of 12 Mbps.
Each channel has its own electrically isolated transceiver and connects to the CAN bus per the CAN/CAN-FD specification.
An add-on interface board for SUB-D 9-pin connectors is available.
